About me

My love for capturing images started back in high school with an inspiring photography teacher. After following that love through college, I planned to head east and live out my grand dream of marketing and advertising in the city. And that, my friend, is when I realized that life doesn’t always go as planned. Long story short, God introduced me to a handsome farmer and I traded my New York City-living dream for living smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Southwest Iowa to be exact. Same as the city, right? However, what was once not at all on my radar turned into the most incredible life. A perfect family of five, a moody cat and a biggest-pile-of-love lab. And talk about hitting the jackpot for photography! Four full seasons to shoot in, endless outdoor backdrops and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets that cast a perfect glow for all of those dreamy shots.

Families, children, newborns and seniors are my specialty but I am always up for anything! Weddings, special events and even pets have been some fun shoots I’ve done as well. When I don’t have my eye behind a lens, you’ll probably catch me watching sports, catching up on the latest fashion or traveling to a fun destination. Life flies by so fast, make sure that you are living it to its fullest!
